Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator on behalf of our client based in Witham, on a temporary to permanent basis.
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy production environment. Previous machine operating experience is essential, although this does not need to have been gained within the food industry.
Roles & Responsibilities

Operating and monitoring production machinery

Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues

Checking weight accuracy throughout production

Checking sealing films and ensuring products are correctly sealed

Checking date codes and product information
-
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
-
Following production procedures and company standards

Adhering to strict HACCP and food safety standards
-
Working closely with the wider production team to maintain smooth production
Experience
-
Previous machine operating experience is essential

Experience within food production is beneficial but not essential

Good attention to detail
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Good understanding of health, safety and hygiene procedures
Hours
Two shift patterns available:
-
6:00am – 3:00pm
-
3:00pm – Midnight
Monday to Friday
