CNC Miller
Location: Basildon
Salary: £37,599 basic + 33% shift allowance (£50,006 annually)
An international aerospace manufacturer is recruiting two experienced CNC Millers with 3-axis or 5-axis machining experience, ideally using Mazak or Doosan equipment.
Duties
Set and operate milling machines to manufacture precision components from engineering drawings.
Maintain tight tolerances and inspect finished parts using measuring equipment.
Follow quality procedures and relevant ISO standards.
Maintain machinery, uphold safety standards and minimise production waste.
Support continuous improvement, energy efficiency and sustainability.
Requirements
Time-served CNC setter/operator with relevant certificates.
Experience with 3-axis or 5-axis machining centres.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
Strong inspection skills, attention to detail and computer literacy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Aerospace experience desirable.

Shift Hours - Monday–Thursday: 19:30–04:30 and Friday: 14:30–19:30
Salary £18.54 per hour plus 33% shift allowance.
