FLT Counterbalance Driver

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: Rotating Weekly
06:00am - 2:30pm
2:00pm - 10:30pm
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established manufacturer of cleaning products and detergents. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term temp-to-perm position within a small, lean manufacturing and production environment.
As an FLT Driver, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the warehouse and production facility, ensuring materials and products are moved safely, efficiently, and in line with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading vehicles.
Moving palletised stock from Goods In directly into warehouse racking locations.
Replenishing and supplying production lines with raw materials.
Transporting finished goods from production to storage areas.
Conducting daily FLT safety and equipment checks.
Assisting with stock control and inventory movements.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Supporting production and warehouse teams to meet daily targets.
Candidate Requirements
Valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence.
Minimum of 2 years' FLT Counterbalance experience within a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
Proven experience moving palletised stock and working within racking systems.
Strong understanding of warehouse and health & safety procedures.
Ability to work effectively within a small, fast-paced, lean operation.
Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious approach.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.

2 weeks training (8am - 4.30pm)
Weekly rotating shifts (6:00am-2:30pm / 2:00pm-10:30pm).
