We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Vertical Borer (NIGHT SHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: £23.70 starting rate, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities

Set and operate CNC vertical boring machines.

Produce large precision-engineered components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings.

Set tooling, offsets and work holdings.

Make adjustments and program edits where required.

Maintain tight tolerances and excellent surface finishes.

Conduct first-off and in-process inspection activities.

Complete quality documentation as required.
Requirements
-
Previous experience operating CNC vertical boring machines.

Strong understanding of precision engineering practices.

Experience machining large components.
-
Ability to work independently from engineering drawings.

Competent with measuring equipment and inspection procedures.

Flexible approach and willingness to work permanent night shifts.
