We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Miller (NIGHTSHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: £23.70 starting rate, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain conrols.

Editing and proving out CNC programs when required.

Working from detailed engineering drawings.

Selecting tooling and setting machine offsets.

Producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.

Conducting first-off and in-process inspections.

Using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment.

Working efficiently to meet production schedules.
Requirements
-
Previous CNC milling experience.

Experience setting and operating CNC machining centres.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Strong inspection and measurement skills.

Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain or Siemens controls advantageous.

Ability to work independently on a permanent night shift.
