We are currently looking to recruit a Manual Horizontal Borer (DAY SHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.
Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (06:00am - 16:00pm)
Pay Rate: £21 per hour, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines.

Machining one-off and small batch precision components.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Working to tight tolerances and quality standards.

Selecting appropriate tooling and fixtures.

Carrying out self-inspection using measuring equipment.
Requirements

Previous experience operating manual horizontal borers.

Ability to work from engineering drawings independently.

Strong understanding of machining techniques and tolerances.

Experience machining large or heavy components.

Good attention to detail and quality standards.
