Refrigeration Engineer

up to £50,000 Basic + Door-to-Door Travel
I’m working with a well-established refrigeration business looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to their team in the Norwich and surrounding area.
This is a varied role covering both commercial and industrial refrigeration, with work across a range of technically involved systems.
There’s no ammonia, but you will need experience working with hydrocarbon refrigerants.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including:
Industrial screw packs
Blast freezers
Vapour compression systems
Hydrocarbon refrigeration systems
Planned and reactive maintenance
Breakdown and fault-finding work Experience with screw packs, blast freezers and vapour compression systems is essential for this position.
Requirements
Strong commercial and industrial refrigeration experience
Experience with industrial screw packs
Experience with blast freezers
Good understanding of vapour compression refrigeration systems
F-Gas qualification
Relevant hydrocarbon certification
Strong fault-finding ability
Full UK driving licence Package
£50,000 basic salary
Door-to-door travel paid

Permanent, full-time position This would suit an experienced refrigeration engineer who enjoys working on larger, more technical systems but doesn’t want to move into ammonia refrigeration.
