Position 1 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join a growing engineering and manufacturing company. You’ll work closely with Quality, Production, Engineering and suppliers to maintain high standards, resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
-
Manage ITPs, inspections, NCRs and corrective actions.
-
Investigate quality issues using 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa and Root Cause Analysis.

Carry out pre-test, pre-paint and final inspections.

Support ISO 9001 audits and customer/supplier quality requirements.
-
Review supplier documentation, material certificates and traceability.
-
Support PFMEA, process mapping and manufacturing improvements.
-
Work with internal teams and suppliers to reduce defects, rework and recurring issues.

Maintain customer-specific quality records and technical documentation.
About You
-
BTEC Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent.

Experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering within manufacturing or engineering.

Experience with NCRs, corrective actions, inspections and Root Cause Analysis.

Knowledge of 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa and ITPs.
-
Understanding of ISO 9001, PFMEA and process mapping is advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, analytical and communication skills.
