Hales Group are delighted to be recruiting for an Engineering Technician on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Lowestoft.

About the role
Working within the production team, you'll be responsible for manufacturing high-precision engineered components to exacting quality standards and tight tolerances. You'll work from engineering drawings and utilise a range of precision measuring equipment to ensure all components meet specification requirements.
This role offers the opportunity to learn specialist engineering techniques and develop valuable skills within a precision manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
Manufacture precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications
Carry out precision engineering and grinding operations
Work to tight tolerances and high-quality surface finish requirements
Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
Use precision measuring equipment to inspect and verify completed work
Ensure all work meets required quality and workmanship standards
Maintain safe, clean, and organised working practices
Work effectively both independently and within a small engineering team
Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures What we're looking for
