Position 1 Recruitment are working with a well-established engineering company in Norwich, who are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their precision engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist with experience in CNC turning, sliding-head and conventional CNC machines, producing complex, high-precision components to tight tolerances.

The Role

Set and operate CNC machining equipment.

CNC programming and editing.

Work with live tooling, sub-spindles and bar feeders.

Manufacture complex and precision components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings.
-
Set and adjust tooling, offsets and machine parameters.

Work to tight tolerances and demanding specifications.

Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet requirements.
About You
-
Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Turner.

Experience with sliding-head CNC machines.

Strong CNC turning and setting/operating experience.
-
Experience working in precision engineering.
-
Aerospace or AS9100 experience would be advantageous.

Confident reading engineering drawings and working to tight tolerances.

High standards of quality and attention to detail.

Flexible and able to work across different machines and applications.
