Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately

Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts

Assisting with credit control and payment collection

Preparing and processing payments

Maintaining accurate financial records and data entry

Supporting month-end procedures and reporting

Handling finance-related queries by phone and email

Assisting the wider finance team with administrative duties as required
Requirements

Previous experience in an accounts or finance role

Good understanding of basic accounting principles

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Good organisational and time management skills

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A positive and professional attitude
Desirable

Experience using Sage, Xero, or similar accounting systems

AAT qualification or studying towards one
