Database Administrator
Listers Group is currently recruiting for a Trainee Database Administrator to be based at our Head Office in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:00pm, reporting to the Database Supervisor.
Basic salary up to £27,000 plus benefits.
The successful candidate will assist in managing all customer and vehicle information, principally on our Group DMS, as well as other interfacing systems. The position would ideally suit an individual with experience in an administrative role.
Role and Responsibilities:
Improve the quality of key data relating to customer contact, adhering to all the Company’s legal obligations.
Assess database on an ongoing basis, looking for duplicates, errors, and omissions.
Use third-party websites along with our dealer management system database to highlight and/or correct issues.
Handle database queries from staff.
Ensure data remains consistent across our various databases.
Regularly run database reports and investigate issues with users.
Work with the Systems Team to identify database training requirements and ensure that relevant training is put in place.Skill/Experience Required:
The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator, computer literate and have outstanding administrative skills with a key focus on attention to detail.
Be highly organised and able to work on their own or as part of a team.
Have an analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage/prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
A well-presented individual with a desire and attitude to succeed.
Previous experience in an administrative role.
Full training will be provided, but knowledge of Microsoft Office is advantageous.What we offer
