Despatch Operative
We're looking for a reliable Despatch Operative to support our busy shipping and warehouse team. This hands‑on role combines order picking and packing with shipping administration to ensure customer orders are despatched accurately, compliantly, and on time.
Key duties include:
Picking, packing, and despatching customer orders
Coordinating UK and international shipments using courier systems (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
Preparing shipping and customs documentation
Updating orders and shipments in SAP
Supporting general warehouse operations and health & safety complianceAbout you:
Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or despatch role
Organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
Confident using computer systems (SAP desirable)
Forklift licence and import/export knowledge an advantage (training available)If you enjoy practical work with responsibility and variety, we'd love to hear from you.
