Nursery Practitioner - Supply (Flexible Hours)
Location: Macclesfield and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible / Day-to-Day Supply | Ongoing Opportunities
Pay: £14 - £15 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a number of nurseries and early years settings in and around Macclesfield who are seeking Nursery Practitioners to support on a flexible, supply basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible working arrangements, whether that's a few days a week or more regular work. You will have the chance to gain experience across a variety of settings while supporting children in their early development.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, reliable, and confident working with children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.
Responsibilities
Support the care and development of children aged 0-5 years
Assist with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
Help create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment
Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care
Work collaboratively with nursery staff and early years teams
Observe and support children's learning and development
Requirements
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Flexibility to work across different nursery settings
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
Paediatric First Aid is preferred
