Nursery Practitioner - Full Time ASAP Start
Location: Knutsford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Contract: Full Time | Ongoing
Premier Education Ltd are currently working in partnership with a primary school in Knutsford who are seeking a Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to support children within a nursery setting, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn and develop.
The school is looking for someone who is passionate about early years education and confident supporting children through play-based learning and daily routines.
Responsibilities
Support the development of children within the nursery/EYFS setting
Assist with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Support children with daily routines, including mealtimes and personal care
Work closely with teaching staff and early years practitioners
Observe and support children's learning and development
Requirements
Experience working within an early years or nursery setting
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Good understanding of the EYFS framework (desirable)
Ability to work full time, Monday to Friday
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to provide two references covering the last two years of employment history
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
A Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification is desirable but not essential
Pay
£90 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
