Learning and Development (L&D) Administrator
As a Learning and Development (L&D) Administrator at HMP YOI Forest Bank, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high-quality learning culture across the establishment. Working closely with the L&D Manager, you will coordinate training activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure all learning initiatives meet business, contractual, and legislative requirements. This is a fast-paced and rewarding environment where your work directly contributes to staff development and the overall effectiveness of the prison.
HMP Altcourse serves the courts of Merseyside and the wider North West, maintaining strong community links with a clear focus on rehabilitation and resettlement. We provide high-quality services that support individuals to make positive changes, offering a wide range of education, training, and work opportunities to help residents develop practical, work-ready skills. Our commitment to reducing reoffending continues beyond custody through strong community partnerships that support individuals on release. The prison includes multiple residential units, a healthcare centre, gym, library, workshops, visits hall, chaplaincy, and kitchen.
Sodexo has a culture built on three hallmarks: Be Courageous, Be Positive, and Be the Difference. We encourage our people to be courageous by safely challenging behaviours that do not support a positive environment, to be positive by creating hope and respect in every interaction, and to be the difference by taking actions that improve outcomes for those we support.
By living these hallmarks every day, you help build routines, rituals, and behaviours that demonstrate what good looks like. You recognise and reinforce the right actions, and you lead with intention—understanding that every moment of connection counts.
Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.
