Finance Administrator
£13.13 per hour | Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm | 37.5 hours per week
One week in the office required for IT equipment collection and training
Fully remote role with occasional local travel
Are you an organised and detail‑focused finance professional looking for a fully remote role? We're recruiting a Finance Administrator to support a busy Accounts Payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and suppliers are paid on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with financial systems, and delivering great service to internal teams and external suppliers.
What you'll be doing
Processing supplier invoices across internal financial systems
Matching invoices to delivery notes and checking coding accuracy
Reconciling supplier statements and requesting missing documentation
Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries and request credit notes when needed
Supporting the administration of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and submitting monthly returns
Maintaining accurate supplier information and performing audit checks
Contributing to process improvements, procedure updates, and system developments
Ensuring compliance with internal policies, data protection, and financial controls
Undertaking occasional local travel when required
What we're looking for
Knowledge of purchase ledger or accounts payable processes
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors
Confident communicating with suppliers and colleagues in a busy, fast‑paced environment
Experience using financial systems and Microsoft Excel/Word
Ability to plan and manage workload, working both independently and as part of a team
A logical and analytical approach to problem‑solving
Willingness to embrace change and contribute to improvements
Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
Qualifications
GCSEs (Maths & English Grade C/4 or above)
NVQ Level 2 in Business & Administration or equivalent experience
Additional information
This role is fully remote, but you will be required to spend one week in the office for IT equipment collection and initial training.
You'll be joining a supportive team with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.
