Are you a skilled Receptionist currently working within a GP practice but seeking a fresh challenge? We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and highly organised individual to join our client's healthcare business.
You will be the first point of contact for service users and vulnerable patients, ensuring they receive a professional and empathetic welcome during their visit.
The Role
As the face of the service, you will manage a busy front-of-house reception while maintaining the integrity of patient data. Your day-to-day will include:
Patient Coordination: Meeting and greeting service users, supporting access to self-managed care, and booking appointments via the Inform EPR and SystmOne systems.
Communication: Managing a busy telephone service, accurately taking messages, and signposting patients to appropriate clinical services.
Data & Records: Maintaining patient records in line with Information Management policies, including updating demographics, scanning, and archiving.
Clinic Support: Working alongside nursing staff to support the smooth operation and closure of clinical venues.What You'll Need (Essential Criteria)
SystmOne Expertise: You must have a sound, working knowledge of SystmOne. This is essential for the role.
GP Practice Experience: Ideally, you are currently (or have recently been) working within a GP surgery or similar primary care environment.
Resilience & Empathy: You must feel comfortable and confident working face-to-face with vulnerable patients, maintaining total discretion and professionalism.
Experience with computer-based information systems and a high level of accuracy in data entry.Why Join?
