We are looking for a Nursery Assistant to join a welcoming nursery in Chichester. Key Responsibilities
Support daily activities and routines for children in the nursery.
Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning experiences.
Promote positive social interactions and encourage independence.
Observe and support each child’s development, maintaining accurate records.
Work collaboratively with nursery staff, parents, and external professionals.
Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
Good communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality practices.
Enhanced DBS check (support available if required).
