About the Role
As a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting children aged 0-5 in their early learning and development. You will work alongside an experienced Early Years team to create a nurturing, stimulating and safe environment where every child can thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting children's learning through play, exploration and structured activities
Assisting with daily routines including snack time, toileting and transitions
Helping to create engaging, age‑appropriate learning environments
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
Ensuring all safeguarding, health & safety and EYFS standards are followed
Contributing to observations and supporting children's individual development plans
What We're Looking For
Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - essential
Experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting
A warm, patient and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to supporting children's early development
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
