Sales Administrator - Wigan – Temp 6-12 weeks – £13.01p/h
We are currently recruiting for a proactive and enthusiastic Sales & Administration Executive to join a busy and fast-paced Sales Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous sales or customer service experience who thrives in a varied role and enjoys working as part of a dynamic team.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the Sales Team through back-office administration, customer interaction, and event coordination. The position requires excellent organisational skills, confidence on the phone, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high levels of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the Back-Office system

Answer incoming calls, handle enquiries, and take accurate messages

Provide excellent customer service, including telephone bookings

Process cash and card payments

Ensure bookings are taken correctly and recorded accurately

Maintain and update the customer database

Upsell sessions, products, and events where appropriate

Assist with event organisation and planning
-
Prepare paperwork and documentation for events

Handle complaints professionally and escalate to the Sales Manager when required

Provide flexible support across the Sales Department as needed

Assist at events, including sign-in and front-of-house support
About You

Previous experience in Sales and/or Customer Service

Confident and engaging telephone manner

Strong IT and computer skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Keen to learn product offerings and develop sales knowledge

Professional, adaptable, and a strong team player

Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
