SEN Teaching Assistant - Middleton
Pay: £103.95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Help implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) where required
Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g., ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH) is highly desirable
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Relevant qualifications are advantageous but not essential with the right experience
