We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Delivery Managers to join a civil engineering company. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of project delivery are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Areas of Focus

Site Delivery – Sub Programme Area: Support the Area Delivery Manager in delivering scope to cost, schedule, and quality.

HSEQ Delivery: Ensure all delivery aligns with industry best practices.

Area Management: Plan, manage, and monitor work, ensuring pre-construction planning is integrated and logistics are in place.
Principal Accountabilities

Define work scope and manage interfaces across the programme.
-
Execute strategies aligned with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP).

Maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
-
Drive safe and timely delivery of contract/package activities.
-
Track progress, manage risks, and report to leadership.
-
Ensure alignment with the overall project schedule and escalate discrepancies..

Promote continuous improvement and knowledge capture.

Interface with other programmes to adopt best practices.

Fulfil all contractual obligations and maintain strong team relationships.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience & Skills

Proven track record managing both large and smaller scale civil infrastructure projects

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Experience in:

Engineering design, contract, and field execution strategies.

Multi-discipline civils projects.
-
Procurement and management of complex contracts.
-
Cost, risk, schedule, and change control using Earned Value tools.

Proficiency in scheduling and risk management tools.
-
Experience with NEC contracts and managing contractors in regulated environments.

Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations.
-
Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
-
Degree in engineering, construction, or a related field.

First Aid
-
Any other relevant qualifcations would be advantageous but not essential
