Visum Recruitment has the pleasure of representing our client in the Fluid Power industry who are seeking a Fluid Power Trade Counter & Warehouse Operative to join their Birmingham branch on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be working as part of the Fluid Power customer service/internal sales team.
Warehouse Operative Job Overview

Assisting on the Trade Counter when customers visit site – identification of products / hydraulic systems and problems and providing a resolution to these customers

Picking and packing hydraulic and pneumatic goods ready for dispatch to customers.

Helping with goods inwards when required

Potentially also manufacturing hydraulic hoses for customers who visit the trade counter

Ad-hoc assistance on customer sites for bin-fill stock replenishment
Warehouse Operative Requirements

Previous experience of customer service, internal or external sales in an engineering environment is essential

Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic products is essential
-
A pro-active approach to work, an enquiring mind and an ability to work under pressure and prioritise activities

Ideally hold a full clean driving licence

Be keen and capable to develop specialist hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
