As a SEN Learning Support Assistant you'll provide tailored support to pupils, enabling them to achieve their potential academically, socially, and emotionally across SEN Schools across Halifax.
Responsibilities of a SEN Learning Support Assistant:
Assist in classroom activities and learning tasks.
Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEN.
Encourage engagement, positive behaviour, and confidence.
Implement IEPs and monitor pupil progress.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.Requirements of a SEN Learning Support Assistant:
Experience supporting children with additional needs.
Patient, empathetic, and proactive.
