Marketing Assistant (Part-Time, Hybrid)
Location: Broxbourne, EN10 (Hybrid – office attendance 1 day per fortnight)
Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 pro rata
Job Type: Permanent | Part-Time (3 days per week)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm

The Role
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our digital and general marketing activity across PPC, SEO, website management, social media, content creation and analytics.
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this is a hands-on, varied role ideal for a marketing professional looking to develop their skills in a supportive, mission-driven organisation.
Hybrid working with office attendance one day every fortnight.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimise PPC campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads, paid social)

Conduct keyword research, write ad copy and manage budgets

Optimise on-page and off-page SEO

Maintain and update website content using WordPress or similar CMS

Assist with landing pages, website updates and marketing content

Plan, create and schedule social media content (paid and organic)

Monitor engagement and respond to messages and comments

Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console and ad platforms

Prepare reports with insights and recommendations

Support email marketing campaigns and service launches

Coordinate marketing activity with internal teams and external partners
Skills & Experience
-
1–3 years’ experience in digital marketing

Hands-on experience with Google Ads

Strong understanding of SEO best practices

Experience using a CMS (e.g. WordPress)

Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Organised, creative and detail-oriented

Confident using Microsoft Office
