Safehouse is looking for an experienced heating & plumbing engineer to join our growing team to assist with the increase volumes of jobs coming in. The suitable candidate will have to meet the following expectations: -
*Profile:*
* Proven experience as plumber
* Good communication ability
* Well-organised and apt in problem-solving
* Attention to detail
* Must have a valid current driving license
* Use of personal vehicle
*Responsibilities:*
* Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials
* Installing and remedying pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids
* Installing and maintaining water supply systems
* Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation
* Assembles fittings and valves for installation
* Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
* Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
* Repair domestic appliances (e.g. washing machines) and fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
* Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
* Modifies length of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing materials as needed for a building
* Uses saws and pipe cutters as necessary
