We are recruiting for a Gas Engineer to join our existing maintenance team on a full time, permanent basis. Please note this is a Mobile Maintenance role.

In addition to gas works, the successful candidate will also be expected to carry out a range of plumbing maintenance work.

*The role will require work experience in the following areas:*

* Boiler Servicing & Maintenance in a commercial industry
* Boiler Replacements
* Heating Controls
* Plumbing

*To apply, applicants must have:*

* *Core Domestic Gas Safety CCN1*
* *Core Commercial Gas Safety COCN 1*
* A full manual driving license with no more than 3 points
* Previous experience operating in a similar role.
* The ability to work on their own and use initiative in problem solving
* The ability to interact with clients professionally and with strong communication

*Other beneficial but not mandatory experience:*

* Catering Core CCCN1
* LPG
* HVAC/ FGAS
* General Building Maintenance

*Travel, Assets & Further information*

This is a mobile maintenance position and therefore whilst we aim to keep each operative as near to home as possible, travel throughout your region is expected up to 2 hours. Further travel may be requested on rare occasions due to absences / emergencies.

On call Rota, Monday – Monday. Bonus + overtime rate.

Assets include: A company vehicle, fuel card, Tablet / PDA for completion of all paperwork, ladders, any testing equipment required, PPE and uniform.

*Please note: *Operatives must provide their own hand and power tools for the role. Consumables and materials are provided as part of the role.

_Salary is offered in the form of an hourly rate, only following successful interview, and is based on qualifications, experience and location._
