Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required: - Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Experience: 1 - 10 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on CI/CD, automation, and cloud technologies.
- Language Requirement: Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

- Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and GitLab, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and web application firewalls (WAF).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and responsibilities: - Automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and automation of testing and monitoring processes.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize cloud environments, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
- System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor systems and applications in real time to detect and resolve issues proactively. Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of the infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to facilitate seamless software development and deployment. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on architectural decisions and best practices.
- Security: Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring that all infrastructure is compliant with security standards and free of vulnerabilities.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in system performance and collaborate with the development and operations teams to optimize applications, databases, and services.
- Documentation: Write and maintain clear documentation related to system configurations, workflows, and best practices.
