CCS are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced School Caretaker to join a welcoming primary school.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous caretaking, facilities or premises experience who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean and secure school environment.
Key Responsibilities

Opening and securing the school premises as required.

Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.

Completing routine health and safety checks.

Ensuring the school grounds and buildings are safe, clean and well maintained.

Setting up and moving furniture and equipment when required.

Monitoring site security and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Liaising with school staff and contractors.

Responding to general site-related issues and supporting the smooth running of the school.
Requirements

Previous experience in a caretaker, premises or facilities role is desirable.

Good general maintenance and DIY skills.

A reliable, proactive and flexible approach to work.

Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

A strong understanding of health and safety.
-
Must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 11:15am – 6:45pm.
