Recruitment & Resourcing Administrator – Temporary Staffing
Droitwich Spa | Full-time, Permanent | Office-based
£26,000–£27,500 depending on experience + branch commission & incentives
Do you enjoy working with people, keeping things organised and being part of a busy recruitment team where no two days are quite the same?
We're looking for a Recruitment & Resourcing Administrator to join our established Droitwich Spa team, supporting high-volume temporary recruitment across driving, logistics, warehousing and other sectors, including key and national accounts.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining recruitment administration, candidate sourcing and screening, compliance, onboarding and weekly timesheet administration.
You'll help us advertise vacancies, find suitable candidates and check their experience, qualifications and availability for temporary assignments. You'll also support candidate registrations and make sure workers have completed the relevant compliance requirements before starting work.
Some of our clients operate in high-security environments, so accurate documentation and thorough pre-employment checks are particularly important. These can include DBS checks, five-year employment history verification, references and qualification checks.
Mondays and Tuesdays are particularly focused on timesheet and payroll-related administration, including checking weekly hours and timesheets for accuracy, identifying discrepancies and liaising with temporary workers and clients to resolve queries before the information is passed to our central Payroll team.
It's a busy, deadline-driven environment where you'll need to balance accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to adapt to changing recruitment priorities.
What will you be doing?
-
Supporting the day-to-day administration of our temporary recruitment operation.
-
Advertising vacancies and proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, recruitment databases and other channels.
-
Speaking with candidates to establish their experience, qualifications, availability and suitability for temporary assignments.
-
Arranging candidate registrations, interviews and onboarding, providing a friendly and professional candidate experience.
-
Carrying out Right to Work, DBS, employment history, reference and qualification checks in line with client requirements.
-
Following up missing information, checking documentation and maintaining accurate compliance records.
-
Collating and checking weekly timesheets and hours, identifying discrepancies and liaising with temporary workers and clients to resolve queries ahead of payroll deadlines.
-
Maintaining accurate candidate, temporary worker, vacancy and assignment information across our recruitment systems.
-
Supporting the team with candidate and client queries and other recruitment administration as priorities change.
About You
Previous recruitment experience would be useful, but isn't essential. We're equally interested in people with strong administration, payroll support, compliance or customer service experience who are confident working with people and willing to learn the recruitment side.
We're looking for someone who:
-
Has strong administrative skills and experience working in a busy, deadline-driven commercial or service environment.
-
Is highly organised, accurate and comfortable checking detailed information and documentation.
-
Is confident working with numbers, timesheets and different IT systems.
-
Enjoys speaking with people and is happy proactively contacting candidates.
-
Is comfortable asking questions, following up missing information and resolving discrepancies.
-
Can manage competing priorities and switch between recruitment and administrative tasks.
-
Has a practical, proactive approach, uses initiative and follows tasks through to completion.
-
Works well as part of a small, supportive team.
Experience in recruitment administration, temporary staffing, candidate sourcing, compliance checks or timesheet administration would be particularly advantageous.
What's in it for you?
-
£26,000–£27,500 depending on experience.
-
Branch commission and incentive scheme.
-
Work for an independent business owned by the people who work here.
-
Training, mentoring and support from an experienced recruitment team.
-
Wider learning and development opportunities, with the chance to develop your skills and take on more responsibility.
-
Holiday allowance that increases with service.
-
A range of health and wellbeing benefits.
-
Central Droitwich Spa office with free parking, close to rail, bus links and local amenities.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, office-based position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm.
