Construction Compliance Coordinator | London
I am currently representing a client to source an experienced Construction Compliance Coordinator for their London-based operations. This role represents a distinct progression from traditional document control, requiring a professional with a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and the gravitas to actively drive the compliance agenda across site and project offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as a proactive custodian of project compliance, taking ownership of technical administration, site audits, and rigorous record-keeping.
Managing the Information Management System (IMS) and ensuring project teams strictly adhere to established procedures and regulatory requirements.
Establishing "Golden Thread" information requirements for regulated and Higher-Risk Building (HRB) projects, and coordinating essential Gateway 2 and Gateway 3 submissions.
Interfacing confidently with project directors, managers, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance registers, technical approvals, and quality assurance evidence are fully maintained.
Candidate Requirements:
Demonstrable experience within a construction environment, coupled with a strong foundational understanding of construction workflows and technical administration.
The professional gravitas to enforce workflow discipline, manage trade contractors, and ensure project teams adhere to statutory processes.
An active, forward-looking approach-moving beyond passive administration to proactively chase approvals, audit project files, and resolve missing information.
Proficiency in core systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
