Compliance Administrator
Romford, Essex | Full-Time | Permanent | £26,450-£27,000
Academics is looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our Romford team.
This is a key administrative position supporting the recruitment process and ensuring that candidates have completed all the necessary checks before working in schools. You'll be responsible for keeping information accurate, following up outstanding documentation and making sure compliance requirements are met within the required timescales.

The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Processing DBS applications and monitoring their progress
Obtaining and checking candidate references
Verifying identification and right-to-work documentation
Ensuring candidate records are complete and accurately maintained
Following up outstanding checks and documentation
Working closely with recruitment consultants to ensure candidates are cleared for work
Keeping on top of deadlines and compliance requirements
Providing general administrative support to the branch when requiredAbout You
We're looking for someone who is naturally organised and enjoys working with detail.
You'll ideally have experience in administration, compliance, coordination or another role where accuracy and following processes are important. Recruitment experience isn't essential.
You'll need to be:
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Comfortable managing several tasks and deadlines at once
Confident communicating by telephone and email
Proactive when chasing information or resolving outstanding issues
Comfortable working with confidential information
Reliable and consistent in your approach
Competent using Microsoft Office and general IT systemsYou'll be joining a busy office, so being able to prioritise your workload and keep things moving is important.
