Job Description
Reporting into the Transport Shift Manager, the Transport Operations Support will provide general administration support to the Transport Department.
Salary: £25,445.42
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Key Duties of Transport Operations Support:
Correctly debriefing drivers
Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system
Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs
Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads
Qualifications
Attention to detail / accuracy

Excellent communication skills in order to deliver accurate information
Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines
Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Able to work as part of a team or individually
Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level
