We’re working with an established FM business in Kirkcaldy that is looking to add a Helpdesk Administrator to its team.
Previous Facilities Management experience would be beneficial, but it isn’t essential. The business is equally interested in candidates with strong administration or customer service experience who have the right attitude, are willing to learn and are looking for an opportunity to develop and progress.
This could be a great opportunity for someone coming from an administration, customer service, helpdesk, scheduling, call centre or similar background who wants to take the next step in their career.
The Role
Working as part of the Helpdesk team, you’ll provide administrative and coordination support across a range of FM contracts. Responsibilities will include:

Logging and managing maintenance requests and jobs.

Liaising with engineers, subcontractors and customers.

Scheduling and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance works.

Providing customers with updates on outstanding jobs.

Ensuring works are progressed within agreed timescales.

Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records.

Supporting with general administration and documentation.

Working closely with the wider operational team to ensure a high level of customer service.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience within Facilities Management, maintenance or a helpdesk environment would be advantageous, but it is not essential.
The business is particularly interested in candidates who:
