Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations across the organisation.
Develop, implement, and maintain data protection policies and procedures.
Conduct regular audits to identify and mitigate data protection risks.
Provide training and guidance to staff on data protection best practices.
Act as the main point of contact for data protection queries and concerns.
Monitor data processing activities to ensure they align with relevant legislation.
Handle data breaches, including investigation and reporting to regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure data privacy is prioritised.Profile
A successful Data Protection Officer should have:
A strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations, including GDPR.
Experience in developing and implementing data protection policies.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
Effective communication skills for providing clear guidance and training.
The ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and care.Job Offer
An hourly rate of £23.00 to £28.00, dependent on the level of experience.
