Pit Bottom Operative - Pipejacking / Tunnelling

We are looking for an experienced Pit Bottom Operative to join an Active Tunnelling project at Riv Mease, starting 2nd November through to 28th December.
Duties will include:
Working at pit/shaft bottom level
Supporting pipejacking operations
Assisting the miners and tunnelling team
Working within shafts and pits
Assisting with the movement of materials, pipes and equipment
Carrying out general tunnelling and underground duties
Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Pit Bottom Operative
Previous pipejacking or tunnelling experience
Experience working within shafts and pits
Comfortable working in underground environments
Relevant site/tunnelling qualifications
Good understanding of site safety
Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a tunnelling teamDuration: 2nd November to 28th December 2026
