Pit Bottom Operative - Pipejacking / Tunnelling

We are looking for an experienced Pit Bottom Operative to join an Active Tunnelling project on the A42, starting 2nd November through to 28th December.
Duties will include:
Working within shafts and pits
Supporting pipejacking operations
Assisting the mining and tunnelling team
Working safely at the bottom of shafts
Supporting with materials, equipment and general tunnelling duties
Following all site health and safety procedures
Requirements:
Previous pit bottom / shaft experience
Experience working on pipejacking or tunnelling projects
Comfortable working within shafts and confined underground environments
Relevant site/tunnelling qualifications
Good understanding of site safety
Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a tunnelling teamDuration: 2nd November to 28th December 2026
