Blue Arrow is currently recruiting for a Porter / Driver to join the facilities team at Winchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable individual looking for long-term employment, with the potential to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
Driving vehicles and vans across campus locations
Assisting with the movement and delivery of furniture, equipment, and supplies
Setting up rooms and facilities for events and university activities
Loading and unloading deliveries
Supporting the wider facilities team with day-to-day operational duties
Working safely and efficiently as part of a teamRequirements
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Experience driving larger vans or commercial vehicles would be highly advantageous
Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving furniture, boxes, and equipment
Strong team-working skills
Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work
Ability to work a variety of shifts and weekend rota patternsWorking Hours
5 days out of 7, including some weekend shifts.
Shifts may include:
6:00am to 2:00pm
10:00am to 6:00pm
1:00pm to 9:00pmNo more than two weekends per month are typically required.
