The Role I’m recruiting for an experienced GRP Finisher to join a busy marine composites manufacturing team based in Lee-on-the-Solent.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in GRP finishing who takes pride in producing a high-quality finish on composite components used within the marine industry.
You’ll be working in a hands-on production environment, carrying out finishing work to ensure components meet the required quality and specification standards.
Key Responsibilities
GRP finishing, including sanding, fairing and surface preparation.
Filling imperfections and carrying out remedial work on composite components.
Trimming, shaping and preparing components for final finishing.
Identifying surface defects and ensuring a high-quality finish.
Working to production deadlines while maintaining excellent workmanship.
Following workshop health and safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in GRP finishing within a marine, boatbuilding or composites environment.
Good practical skills in sanding, fairing, filling and surface preparation.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A reliable and proactive approach to work.
What’s on Offer?
£21–£23 per hour, depending on experience.
LTD or Umbrella payment options.
40+ hours per week.
