Chief Inspector
Based in Essex
An exciting new permanent role for a Chief Inspector
You will be responsible for leading and coordinating of our clients inspection activities, ensuring manufactured components and associated documentation consistently meet customer, drawing, regulatory and quality management system requirements.
The position requires an experienced, technically capable and hands-on inspection professional with a strong background in precision aerospace machining, fine-tolerance measurement and dimensional inspection.
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate:
Minimum of 5 years' previous experience in a Chief Inspector, Senior Inspector, Lead Inspector or equivalent senior inspection position within a precision engineering environment.
In addition, candidates must have demonstrable experience in:

Aerospace or similarly regulated precision engineering.

Fine-tolerance CNC machined components.

Complex dimensional inspection.

Engineering drawing interpretation.
-
GD&T / geometric tolerancing.
-
FAIR preparation and review.
-
CMM operation and interpretation of CMM reports.
