Landscape Gardener required to work around the Southend area.
Please note: Monday to Friday and you must have your own transport and site-based outdoor work.
The role:
We are looking for a reliable Landscape Gardener to undertake landscaping and garden maintenance projects across Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas. Working on residential and commercial properties, you will help create and maintain attractive outdoor spaces, completing work to a high standard and providing a professional service to customers.
Key responsibilities:

Prepare ground, improve soil and lay turf. Plant trees, shrubs, flowers and hedges. Carry out mowing, hedge cutting, pruning, weeding and general garden maintenance.

Assist with hard landscaping, including patios, paving, fencing, decking and garden edging. Use gardening tools and powered equipment safely.

Load, unload and move materials, keeping work areas clean and tidy.

Follow project instructions and agreed schedules.

Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.

Follow health and safety procedures and report equipment faults.
Essential skills and experience:

Proven previous experience in landscaping, gardening or grounds maintenance.

A practical understanding of planting, lawn care and seasonal maintenance.

Experience using common gardening tools and machinery safely.

Good attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.

Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently or within a team.

Ability to undertake the physical duties of the role, with reasonable adjustments where appropriate.

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to travel to sites across Southend and surrounding areas.

A full UK driving licence, particularly where driving a company vehicle is required.
