An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Bedding Plant Grower to join a successful commercial growing operation in Kent.
This is a hands-on growing position suited to an experienced horticulturist who has strongbedding plant knowledge and is comfortable with the practical day-to-day responsibilities involved in commercial crop production.
The Role
You will be involved in the day-to-daygrowing and maintenance of high-qualitybedding plant crops, working as part of a commercial growing team.
Your responsibilities will include:

Growing and maintaining bedding plant crops

Regular watering and irrigation
-
Feeding and crop maintenance
-
Monitoring plant health and crop quality
-
Identifying and dealing with potential crop issues
-
General glasshouse growing duties
-
Maintaining high standards across the growing operation

Working as part of a team to meet production requirements
About You
We are looking for someone with:

Previous commercial horticulturalgrowing experience

Strong knowledge of bedding plants
-
Experience working within a glasshouse or commercial growing environmentx

Good all-round plant knowledge
-
Experience with watering, feeding and general crop maintenance
-
A keen eye for crop quality and detail

A practical, hands-on approach

The ability to work independently aswell as part of a team

A genuine passion for growing high-quality plants
You don't need to be purely focused on the specialist side of growing. The ideal candidate will be happy getting involved in all aspects of the day-to-day growing operation.
