We are currently recruiting for a Roadside Vehicle Technician for a reputable automotive breakdown and repair company based in Oxford. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to work within a dynamic and varied environment, covering the Oxford/Reading region. As a Roadside Vehicle Technician, you will work nights, providing essential breakdown assistance and vehicle repairs on the roadside.
Benefits:
Basic salary of £42,921, inclusive of night allowance
Uncapped on-target earnings exceeding £60,000 annually
Fully equipped company van, work tablet, mobile phone, and fuel allowance
23 days' annual leave, increasing to 25 days with service
Start and finish from your driveway, with no additional travel time
Flexible shift pattern known 12 months in advance, working 40 hours weekly between 8:00pm-8:00am

Opportunity to work with a leading UK automotive breakdown and repair businessDuties of a Roadside Vehicle Technician:
Responding to roadside breakdown calls across Oxford/Reading and surrounding areas
Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues on-site
Handling vehicles ranging from city cars to 4x4s and commercial vehicles
Communicating effectively with customers, often in distressing situations
Working independently with a fully equipped company van
Ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently to enable customers' journeys to continue smoothlyRequirements of a Roadside Vehicle Technician:
At least NVQ Level 2 or IMI qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Demonstrable experience in vehicle mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic work
Valid UK driving licence with fewer than 6 penalty points
Ability to work independently, organise workload effectively, and maintain a methodical approach
Friendly, calm, and professional personality to represent the company positively
