Our client is a specialist manufacturing company. Due to growth, they are recruiting for a Quality Technician.
The Role

Will be a permanent day shift role.
-
To provide support to the Senior Quality Technician and day to day responsible for the QC tests on the raw material chemicals and blended product, environmental and water monitoring program.

Perform routine environmental monitoring of cleanrooms based at production site.
-
Organisation of Environmental monitoring schedule in conjunction with production schedule.
-
Carry out microbiological sampling of water from the site purified water system.
-
Handle samples in conjunction with documented procedures to prevent cross contamination.
-
Maintain accurate and systematic records in accordance with documented procedures.
-
Ensure all monitoring equipment is operated as per procedures.
-
Work with the production team to drive site forward through continuous improvement.

Routine testing of products including incoming raw materials, mixed bases (bulk product) and finished products according to approved specifications and procedures.

Reporting and investigating deviations and out of specification results, helping to identify and implement corrective actions to resolve problems and prevent recurrences.

Ensuring all records are completed according to GMP guidelines and the approved procedures.

Perform all duties in accordance with the principles of pharmaceutical Good Manufacturing Practice and safe working practices.

Ordering of QC reagent chemicals for testing requirements.
The Person
-
Experience of working in quality assurance roles, ideally in a GMP environment.

Able to perform QMS activities across site (e.g., Deviation management, CAPA, Change control).

Experience of review and approval of validation and qualification documents essential.

Microbiology experience beneficial.
-
Confident in performing internal audits and hosting site audits with regulators and customers.

Ability to prioritize workloads.
-
Proficient communicator to all levels.
-
Able to work quickly and accurately whilst maintaining identified quality standards.

Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
