We are currently working with our client who are a North-East Manufacturer recruiting for an experienced Assembly Production Operative on a temporary basis initially with the possibility of becoming permanent. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a busy production team, supporting the assembly and manufacture of high-quality products while working to production schedules and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assemble products and components in line with engineering drawings and work instructions. (must have experience with Mechanical Assembly)

Accurately interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing documentation.

Carry out quality checks and work closely with the quality department to ensure standards are met.

Identify and report defects, rework requirements and health & safety concerns.

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Support continuous improvement activities within the production team.

Communicate effectively with team leaders and colleagues to ensure manufacturing objectives are achieved.

Complete all required training and follow company procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing, production & Mechanical Assembly environment.

Able to use a standard tape measure

Familiar with Impact Drivers in Manufacturing

Good mechanical assembly skills and experience using hand tools.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, motivated and safety-conscious approach to work.
Desirable
- Manufacturing or engineering qualifications/apprenticeship.
