Executive Assistant
Location: Cambridge (with potential for initial home‑working depending on start date) Salary: up to £45,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full‑time, permanent (37.5 hours per week)
We’re supporting a highly respected organisation in Cambridge that’s looking for a proactive, organised and people‑centred Executive Assistant. This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys being the calm, capable anchor behind a busy CEO, keeping things moving, keeping communication clear, and keeping the wider team supported.

You’ll be the CEO’s right hand, managing their diary, inbox, travel and day‑to‑day communications, while also supporting wider group administration. Your work will directly influence how smoothly the organisation operates, how well relationships are maintained, and how effectively the leadership team can focus on strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities

Extensive diary management

Handling expenses

Supporting board travel, accommodation and event arrangements

Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including confidential correspondence

Coordinating office services and supplier relationships

Arranging meetings, room bookings, agendas and refreshments

Providing HR administration support (holiday and sickness tracking)
Desired background

Experience supporting a CEO or senior leader with diary, mailbox and travel management

Strong proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint

Excellent communication skills and meticulous record‑keeping

A willingness to take on broader responsibilities when needed
