A thriving business at the forefront of their engineering industry has an excellent opportunity for a Draughtsman to join their growing team. Designing and manufacturing a host of products, this business boasts a comprehensive, long standing market presence spanning across multiple decades.
Role Description

Convert 2D Designs to 3D Designs using Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks.

Optimize designs for manufacturing, increasing efficiency, material utilization, and alignment with new production technologies.

Collaboration with the team to adapt designs for modern sheet metalworking processes.

Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, with an emphasis on modularity, optimizing material utilisation and improving production times.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation, including 3D models and technical drawings.
Skills & Experience
-
3+ years’ experience in Sheet Metal draughting.

AutoCAD (2D) / Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.

Qualified in an engineering discipline (desirable but not essential).

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail.
