Seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join the companies maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for vehicle repair and maintenance. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and diagnose faults accurately.

Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine repairs, brake replacements, suspension work, and electrical diagnostics.

Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.

Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures.

Assist with heavy lifting tasks using appropriate equipment to handle large or heavy vehicle parts safely.

Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including parts used and time taken for each service.

Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications

Minimum IMI Level 2 or equivalent

Must hold a full manual UK driving license

Must have use of your own hand tools

Previous experience of LGV desirable but not essential.
Please also note a DBS will be carried out as they are a CQC regulated company
The role is based out of the Thurrock HQ but will involve travel in and around London depending on workload.
There is currently a fleet of 105 Vehicles.
