Key Responsibilities of a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician:
-
Carry out services on specific makes and models of vans and cars
-
Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
-
Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
-
General maintenance and repairs
-
MOT Prep & MOT Post Repairs
-
Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs)
-
Suspension work
-
Repairs on lights
-
Repairing and replacing exhausts
-
Repairing and replacing clutches
-
Dealing with gearboxes
-
Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience.

Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed
Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician Requirements:

MUST have a UK NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI qualification to Level 3

Hold a full valid driver license.

Previous experience of working on Ford or Mercedes Vans would be beneficial
-
If you hold EV & Hybrid or F Gas qualifications this is beneficial but not essential
